Events for Parents

Several events are planned for parent involvement throughout the year.

• Commencement
  Congratulations to the parents of graduating students! For details about the upcoming commencement activities, please visit www.du.edu/commencement


• Summer Send-Off Parties
  During the months of July and August, Send-Off Parties are held around the country. These are great opportunities for incoming students to meet other new students, and for families to meet other families in their area before the start of the school year. Current students and their parents, as well as alumni and DU staff, are present to respond to questions and concerns.


• Homecoming/Parents Weekend, October 24 – 26, 2008
  Join parents, students and alumni on campus for a weekend of fun. Save the Date!


• Moms & Grandmoms and Dads & Granddads Weekends
  Moms and grandmothers and dads and grandfathers are invited on alternating years to spend time with their student on campus and around Denver. Moms & Grandmoms Weekend 2009 is scheduled for February 27 – 28, 2009. Please check back later for more details.
